Vídeos da Turma da Mônica são aliadas à educação e ao enfrentamento de violências contra a mulher

A Secretaria de Segurança Pública do Distrito Federal, em parceria com o PNUD Brasil – Programa das Nações Unidas para o Desenvolvimento, lançou no início de Março de 2020, dois vídeos da Turma da Mônica que discutem a importância de prevenir diferentes formas de violência contra as mulheres. O inusitado é que o conteúdo é voltado para as realidades infanto-juvenis, contribuindo para que crianças, adolescentes e jovens comecem a refletir e perceber desde cedo as nuances das violações de direitos de meninas e mulheres.
Cada um dos vídeos tem aproximadamente dois minutos, sendo um deles protagonizada pela versão clássica da turminha e outro pela galera da Turma da Mônica Jovem. Assista aos vídeos a seguir:
Ambos os materiais podem ser abordados em oficinas de educomunicação que discutam equidade de gênero, violências psicológicas, emocionais, patrimoniais e simbólicas contra a mulher, além da educação socioemocional de meninos.
As obras ajudam a identificar algumas situações concretas de machismo e violação de direitos das mulheres, apontando para soluções como rompimento do relacionamento, reflexão sobre as próprias atitudes, diálogo com amigos e familiares para buscar apoio, relação saudável e respeitosa entre meninos e meninas, além da divisão equilibrada das tarefas domésticas.
